Concepts (all editions)

Shared usage

These concepts are common to all editions (Community, Cloud, on-premise) — with slight variations per edition. They describe usage on the end-user side, via the web interface.

  • Get an API key — create a free key (Mistral / Gemini) for indexing and synthesis.
  • Library — how personal and org libraries are fed via cloud connectors and scrapers (no manual upload), indexed formats, pipeline.
  • Cloud connectors — Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, kDrive, S3, WebDAV… activation and credentials.
  • RAG search — ask a question, refine, cite the sources, strict mode.
  • Multi-turn conversations — persistent discussion thread, history, export.
  • Watch alerts — monitor a keyword across your sources and receive a digest.

Search scope

Three scopes, selectable via the contextual menu:

Scope Content
Personal your uploaded documents + your connected cloud drives
Organisation shared library across your org (members + admin)
Public platform public sources (RSS, admin scrapers)

Users can combine scopes (tick several boxes) — RRF (Reciprocal Rank Fusion) merges results across selected ChromaDB collections.

Quotas

See Quotas and plans. In on-prem editions, all Pro+ features are enabled by default (multi-turn, conversations, alerts, single-document chat).
